Closed Corner Frames Closed-corner or finished-corner frames are made from raw wood stock (either pre-milled or milled in our woodshop). The raw wood is joined into the correct frame size and then the finish is applied. Since the finish is applied over the whole frame the corner joints are not visible when looking at the finished frame.
