Picture frame repair and restoration.
Accidents happen. Whether during a move or day-to-day life, picture frames can get damaged. We can salvage most frames but typically need to see them in person to determine that. Please do not use command strips to hang your art; sooner or later they’re going to fail and, more than likely, your frame will be damaged in the fall. Instead, come to us & we’ll show you the hooks you need to hang art safely.
We also restore antique frames. Often, gilding can wear off in places or ornamentation can fall off. We don’t make your frame look like new in a restoration (unless that’s what you want), instead we stabilize the frame and finish, recreate any missing ornamentation, and re-gild or refinish where necessary making sure that the restoration blends in with the existing finish so your antique frame continues to look like an antique frame.
