Custom Framing Work

You've worked long and hard (and in some cases spent a lot of money) earning your diploma.  Same for the effort that results in an award or certificate.  Why not frame it so that people will notice it?

Floater frames are L shaped - basically an inverted traditional frame profile.  Particularly appropriate for more modern canvas art.

We can stretch any size canvas (most frame shops can't go over 10ft) and we can even stretch a canvas that has minimal border so that you don't lose any of the image.  We use "floater frames" or regular frames when framing canvases.

Closed-corner or finished-corner frames are made from raw wood stock (either pre-milled or milled in our woodshop).  The raw wood is joined into the correct frame size and then the finish is applied.   Since the finish is applied over the whole frame the corner joints are not visible when looking at the finished frame. 

Our framers are trained in and have many years experience with true conservation framing.  They'll explain each element of a design to you along with it's conservation benefits.

Unlike many frame shops we hand-wrap our fabric mats on premise.   This gives our clients the largest choice of fabric and color and means there are no joins visible.  It also allows us to choose an appropiate mat thickness as well.

We do frame true fine art (Monet, Degas, Rembrandt, Warhol, Picasso,  in just the last few months) but we treat all art as fine art.  We'll always recommend the best conservation materials for every job we do and you can feel secure in the fact we'll treat your art like it's worth a million.

We do repair and restore all types of frames but we specialize in older frames (gilded or not) that over the years have been chipped, lost decoration, have become unstable, etc.

We are one of only a handful of framers in the Rocky Mountain region that gild our frames on-site.  Since we do our own gilding you have much more choice over the type and color of leaf used, the amount of antiquing or rub-through, and the degree the leaf is burnished.   We create gilded frames for collectors and Museums throughout the US including many names you'd recognize here in Denver.

Our hand carved or custom finish frames are all made on premise in our woodshop and atelier.  These frames are truly custom because you can choose the profile, the carve, the finish to create the perfect frame for your art.  In England these frames would be termed "bespoke".

Steel frames aren't just for those Lodo style lofts or industrial looking office space (although they are perfect for them) since the look can be softened with traditional framing materials meaning they'll work in any home décor.  We custom make our steel frames - we can even use a paint color of your choice.  Doesn't get any more custom than that!.

Whether it's a baseball jersey, basketball jersey, football jersey, hockey jersey, lacrosse jersey, rugby jersey, soccer jersey, or any other type of jersey or uniform we can create the perfect frame for it.   Remember, if it's got any kind of signature or writing (particularly sharpie) on it always have it framed under at least UV glass.
